| Wine on the River Festival |
Spring is here and there is no better way to welcome it than by
taking off to enjoy Wine on the River, acclaimed spring open air wine festival. Kick back on the shady banks of the Breede River and enjoy the very best the region has to offer.
Wine, music, food and lifestyle!
Wine on the River is located in the perfect setting of the
Goudmyn Farm where the river lazily meanders its way through
the beautiful hills and vineyards. With not a worry in the
world, you can enjoy the gentle spring days in this oh-so
relaxed atmosphere.
Showcased for you to taste at the festival are over 300 wines
over 40 local wineries from Ashton, Bonnievale and
Robertson. You can then stock up your wines at cellar prices.
There’s live music and plenty of local produce to sample -
olives, cheeses, olive oil and other regional specialities.
Take a boat trip, or picnic with your friends and family –
and there’s plenty too for kids to do.
Ah – you cant beat it – this is the life!
Tickets include a tasting glass, goodie bag, wine tasting,
access to tutored tastings, and shuttle rides to and from
festival. Book soon to get early bird discounts.
Free entry for kids under 18.
Boat trips are R15 and proceeds go towards local Hospice.
